However it is only 2 minutes walk to the very popular traditional restaurant La Diga. The two apartments have magnificent panoramic views of, and are very close to, the spectacular mountain ranges of the Sibillini and the Gran Sasso National Parks. The location is ideal for those who love and appreciate walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits. Also from your apartment there are walks along quiet lanes, perhaps catching a glimpse of the local deer and eagles. The apartments are surrounded by ancient villages with warrens of cobbled streets, and squares with their medieval churches. The hilltop towns and villages of Force, Montefalcone, Montefortino, Amandola, and also the spa town of Sarnano, are all nearby. Then there is Ascoli Piceno with its grand squares of Piazza Popolo and Piazza Arringo, where you can relax and enjoy an espresso before exploring the historic streets of exclusive shops and galleries / museums The soft sandy beaches at San Benedetto and Grottamare, with their seafood restaurants are within easy reach. Broadband Internet access (WiFi) is now available in the apartments and is free of charge.
	Each self catering apartment is very similar in layout & size and each can sleep up to 5. They were newly renovated for holiday rentals in 2007. The floors are fully tiled throughout & most of the windows have external shutters. There is a large area outside for dining "al fresco". Apartment details... Bedroom 1 has a large double bed. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. All bed linen is supplied. The large light & airy lounge has dining area, open fire & comfortable seating. Extra sleeping facilities are also available on a bed settee. The kitchen is modern, well equipped with a gas hob and oven, fridge and it has ample cooking utensils and crockery. The bathroom is fully tiled with a bath/ shower/ wc/ bidet/ wash basin. Towels are included. The apartments have full gas central heating, which is available for use if required.
The extensive grounds extend to over 5000 square metres, with the same magnificent views that are enjoyed from the apartments. There are several private areas and all the grounds are freely available to roam. There is outside lighting close to the apartments Communal Room and Information Point... which has a pizza oven, barbecue area, & drying facilities. Also a fridge with soft drinks etc.There is a washing machine available on request. Both the Sibillini and the Gran Sasso mountain ranges offer magnificent walking, mountaineering & cycling (road & mountain bikes). They also have both downhill & cross country skiing. Secure ample storage for your equipment is available at the apartments.
