Three months in paradise
It was incredibly beautiful,
incredibly private, and a wonderful centre for exploring Italy.
The apartment was delightful as well as practical, situated high
up in a tiny hamlet of 5-6 houses, occupied only at weekends in the
summer, and the owner could not have been more helpful. The local town has all the amenities you could want, with larger towns, ancient and medieval also nearby. It is a lovely drive (about 40 minutes) to the coast, with a delightful vineyard on the way....!! We cycled and walked - both of which can be done from the apartment itself, as its location, on top of a mountain, amongst many mountains! It is not party town, and you do need a vehicle, but night life is not far away, people are very friendly and helpful, and it is so private that no one complains when you party!
I have never stayed anywhere quite so beautiful.
The downside? ..... Having to say goodbye - honestly!
Thanks, Roy, it was unforgettable.

Italian Job
The location is stunning, took my breath away. The local towns are easy
to access. Fantastic venue to get away from all the hustle and bustle of
UK life.
The apartment was lovely and everything you need is
supplied even a pizza oven downstairs. If you like fresh air this is for
you. Oh yes and very easy to get the coach for a nice trip to Rome.
Will be back this year

Spellbound
As I looked out
at the fabulous panoramic view from Castelfiorito my
first morning there, I was spellbound ! The location of
the apartments really is superb. Being there in the
spring, there were still snow-capped mountains as a
backdrop. Thickly carpeted wooded hills are nearer and
then a wonderful wild flower-strewn meadows and hedgerows
close by. Another day while exploring the boundaries of
the property, amongst the acacia trees and various
shrubs, I was thrilled to find wild clematis, several
very beautiful orchids and even a bank of gentians.
The area really is a flower lover's, walker's and
cyclist's paradise. We enjoyed several walks both nearby
and further afield. The two most memorable ones were a
beautiful gorge walk where we climbed up high and
enjoyed wonderful views and a ridge walk up to the snow
line again with fabulous panoramic views. We even used a
mountain refuge on one occasion for our lunch and
enjoyed the warmth of the log fire.
There is a
restaurant in the village a short walk from the
apartments with reasonably priced meals and good
service. The nearest town Comunanza can be reached
quickly by car or local bus and has all the usual shops,
banks and a good market day.

This was our first visit to the Le Marche area and we
will definitely be returning. The apartment offered us
much more than a base from which to explore. - To
sit up on the balcony enjoying the wonderful mountain
views and watching the sun set is an experience not to
be missed.
Thanks for helping to make our stay so relaxing and
enjoyable.

We just wanted to say we had the most enjoyable and
relaxing holiday week. Our visit was during the local
festival season, with even the smallest village having
nightly "festas".
We look forward to booking again for next year ...Many
thanks Roy
